I am inspired by the body.

My life’s work has involved studying how to gain strength, become faster, gain muscle, lose fat, and live a healthier life. This internal drive led me to finish a degree in Kinesiology and work for several years with others striving to master physical fitness in conventional gyms. We became superficially stronger, more muscular, leaner… and yet deeper health – let alone wellbeing – seemed to remain out of reach. The pace of life and the stressors and demands of conventional training, always felt unbalanced.

I had a strong yearning for a more holistic approach and this is why I left for India to study yoga and meditation for several years. I transformed, both externally and internally, as a result of daily practice involving physical postures, breathing, meditation and envisioning. In India I came to realize that flexibility, suppleness, grounding, and inner wellness were all just as important to overall health as the strengthening and conditioning aspects I had worked to master previously.

Returning to Canada, I was nurturing a dream to combine strength coaching with yoga training. Physical strength is only a small part of wellness, and now more than ever we need a balanced approach to fitness; one that gives us the tools to calm our minds and connect deeply within.

Bodhi Bodies Wellness was created to give training services and programs through this more balanced approach. We offer tailored solutions to help clients find their own internal and external balance.

At Bodhi Bodies Wellness the emphasis is holistic. Train your physical body so that you can live life to the fullest, now and into old age. Train your mind so that you can stay calm in stressful situations, finding greater peace along life’s path and in dealing with everybody you meet along the way.
